LUMI AI Factory
DeiC represents Denmark in the new LUMI AI Factory consortium selected by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking to establish one of Europe's next big supercomputers.
The new supercomputer will be located in CSC's data center in Kajaani, Finland, and is scheduled to replace the current LUMI supercomputer in 2027.
At the same time, an AI Factory will be established, bringing together computing power, data and expertise in a single service platform to make it easier for researchers and developers to work with artificial intelligence. The initiative will also support the development of AI in accordance with EU regulations and ethical guidelines.
LUMI AI Factory is funded by EuroHPC JU. The collaboration includes Finland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Estonia, Norway and Poland.
