DeiC Interactive HPC
DeiC Interactive HPC offers interactive computational resources and easy access for users without extensive HPC experience.
The system is aimed at users who do not have much experience with calculations on large systems. Typically, when the individual researcher's own computer is not sufficient due to lack of computing power, storage or memory.
Experienced users can use this type of system to work with R statistics, but also for prototyping and idea development, and it could be students' first encounter with HPC systems.
Through the national collaboration, researchers from all Danish universities can gain access to DeiC Interactive HPC. The DeiC Interactive HPC consortium continuously offers introductory workshops and webinars on DeiC Interactive HPC via UCloud and related services. Read more about the opportunities and sign up via the “Activities” link at the top of the page.
DeiC Interactive HPC is run by a consortium consisting of SDU, AAU and AU. The eScience Center at SDU and CLAAUDIA at AAU provide the resources, while AU handles the support and helps new users get started.
Who can use Interactive HPC?
A national collaboration between the universities and DeiC ensures that all researchers at Danish universities have access to a digital research infrastructure. DeiC coordinates the use of a number of national supercomputers that are available to Danish researchers across Danish universities. The supercomputers are operated and developed by the universities, which make computing time available to researchers regardless of institutional affiliation.
