GO FAIR office Denmark
GO FAIR is a bottom-up, stakeholder-driven and self-governed initiative that aims to implement the FAIR data management principles, making data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). It offers an open and inclusive ecosystem for individuals, institutions and organizations working together through Implementation Networks (INs). The INs are active in three activity pillars: GO CHANGE, GO TRAIN and GO BUILD.
The international GO FAIR collaboration consists of GO FAIR offices in Austria, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Germany and the USA.
The Danish GO FAIR office, located at DeiC, is the national hub of the international GO FAIR collaboration.
The Danish GO FAIR office at DeiC supports a number of long-term strategic goals:
- Bringing competencies home from international collaboration; and distributing competencies nationally to support all three pillars in the implementation of the Danish national FAIR strategy:
- Changing data management practices (GoChange)
- Establishing a knowledge infrastructure (GoTrain)
- Establishing technical support infrastructure (GoBuild)
- Coordinating and engaging national universities in international implementation collaborations, e.
- Support GO FAIR implementation networks; for example. Data Stewardship (GoTrain) and FAIR Infrastructure (GoBuild).
