Abstract: The Nordic e-Infrastructure Collaboration (NeIC)

NeIC serves two major roles in the Nordic region by working with the national providers of computing resources to foster collaborations that develop common e-infrastructure solutions and by operating the Nordic Tier-1 facility that is part of the World-wide LHC Computing Grid (WLCG).
The common infrastructure solutions include the Tryggve project for handling sensitive data, the Glenna project for federating cloud resources, the coderefinery project that is working on software development e-infrastructure and skills, the Dellingr project for sharing resources across national boundaries and a broad effort to pool competences within the region, including access to training resources.
