The report analyses digital infrastructure for research purposes in Denmark and several comparable countries.
At the request of the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education and the Rectors' Conference, DeiC has prepared an analysis report on digital infrastructure for research, focusing on three areas:
- Needs Assessment: An evaluation of the current needs of researchers and an assessment of needs over a five to ten-year perspective.
- Benchmarking: A comparison of national solutions in several comparable countries, including organizational models and economics.
- European Developments: An analysis of the European developments in the field.
The report was delivered to the Danish Agency for Science and Higher Education on December 20, 2017, and will be part of the knowledge base that will underpin discussions on a common strategy for the national e-infrastructure collaboration for the period 2019-2029.
