Dynamic purchasing system for WAN connections

WAN connection suppliers may apply for membership of the dynamic purchasing system for wide area network services.

DeiC has established a dynamic purchasing system for wide area network services. A dynamic purchasing system is a flexible alternative to a framework agreement.

The tender of the dynamic purchasing system has two phases.

In the first phase, the system is established. This is the first opportunity for vendors to request to participate.

The second phase consists of mini-tenders. Vendors may request to participate during the lifetime of the purchasing system.

DeiC purchases three types of WAN connections:

  • Dark fiber.
  • Data transmission capacity.
  • Housing.

A vendor does not have to be able to provide all three types.

The system has a duration of 18 years from its establishment in August, 2017.
