The DeiC Board

DeiC is governed by a board of directors, which is responsible for the overall and strategic management and operation of the collaboration on behalf of the universities. The Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science approves the board's strategic and principal decisions of financial or legal nature.

The board consists of a chairperson and eight members. The chairperson and board members can serve a maximum of 8 years on the board.

Each of the eight universities appoints a representative from its senior management to the board. Each board member represents the interests of DeiC.

The Rectors' Conference of Universities Denmark jointly appoints a chairperson for the board with expertise in digital research infrastructure and experience in strategic management from one of the Danish universities. The chairperson must not be employed by the host university.
