KOR, in collaboration with DeiC, aims to ensure that Denmark’s long-standing tradition of operating and developing registers and databases is supported as effectively as possible by new technological opportunities, so that Denmark can maintain an international leadership position in register research.
On this basis, KOR initiates development projects that are intended to create new opportunities for researchers and to better harness the potential of registers, historical data, and new technology. Recent and ongoing development projects have focused on establishing new registers and on linking data from DST’s secure zone with the capabilities for complex calculations on the national supercomputers (i.e., High-Performance Computing (HPC) under DeiC).
