Time service

The DeiC time service allows institutions to set the clocks of their computers and other devices to the right time.

DeiC operates a time service based on the NTP standard (Network Time Protocol).

The current time may be fetched from ntp.forskningsnettet.dk, a Stratum-2 server.

Forskningsnettet also has access to a Stratum-1 server, that may be used for e.g. synchronizing local time servers.
