Research Data Management: What is being done?

Director Kevin Ashley, Digital Curation Centre, Edinburg

The DCC has been providing guidance for 10 years on best practice in data curation, and has worked closely with organisations throughout the UK and elsewhere to help them develop research data management services. I will talk about what we have learned from this work, on incentives, successes and barriers. I will also discuss when cooperation at regional, national or international level is more appropriate and describe how the British policy framework is being implemented.
