At NORDUnet's general meeting on 21 April, the members voted for DeiC's CEO, Gitte Kudsk, to become the new member of the NORDUnet Board of Directors. In doing so, she must help set the strategic direction of the future for NORDUnet.
NORDUnet is owned by the research networks in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland and provides international high-speed connections to its owners, including via connections to GÉANT. NORDUnet is also a forum for Nordic co-operation within research networks and e-infrastructure.
Gitte Kudsk replaces Steen Pedersen, who resigned earlier this year as director of DeiC and now also as a board member of NORDUnet.
