Evolve your business to the next level with the help of HPC. Small and medium-sized companies can now apply for HPC resources through the European project FF4EuroHPC. The project has launched an open call targeted small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe.
The FF4EuroHPC project seeks to help small and medium-sized enterprises benefits from using HPC resources. By applying for resources through the open call, small and medium-sized enterprises may develop innovative products or services, they can potentially optimize their products or the productions process. They can speed-up their process and save money, they can lift their business by gaining new know-how. And lastly they can also gain new insights by collaborating with experts from the HPC/HPDA/AI domain.
Proposals from certain domains preferred
The project seeks proposals addressing business challenges from various domains, but preference will be given to engineering and manufacturing, or sectors able to demonstrate fast economic growth or particular economic impact for Europe.
Key facts:
- Submission Deadline: 27th of January 2021 at 17:00 CET.
- Expected duration of experiments: Maximum 15 month with expected commencement on the 1st of June 2021.
- Funding for the Open Call: The total funding budget is EUR 3 M.
- Maximum funding request per proposal: EUR 200.000 (covering all participants)
- Proposal submission is exclusively in electronic form that can be accessed via www.ff4eurocc.eu
- Proposals must be submitted in English.
FF4EuroHPC supports Europe’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises
The FF4EuroHPC project addresses the need for outreach to Europe’s Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in order for them to profit from the innovation advantages offered by High-Performance Computing technologies.
F4EuroHPC seek to lower the barriers for the participating SMEs to start HPC-related innovation in their existing or newly identified markets either by using HPC systems for their business needs or by providing new HPC-based services.
A 3 year Horizon2020 project
The FF4EuroHPC project started at the beginning of September 2020 and will last three years. This project is funded by the European Commission within Horizon2020, The EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
