UPDATE: Since Denmark will be leaving the PRACE collaboration on the 1st of January 2022, Danish scientists will NOT be able to apply for resources through the 24th call!

Both Danish scientists and researchers can apply for access to PRACE resources. Industrial users can also apply if they have their head offices or substantial R&D activity in Europe.

Additionally, the 24th call from PRACE offers Principal Investigators from industry the possibility to apply for access to a special Industry Track which prioritises 10 % of the total resources available from PRACE.

The resources offered through this 24th call are provided by 5 PRACE hosting members. They are BSC representing Spain, CINECA representing Italy, ETH Zurich/CSCS representing Switzerland, GCS representing Germany and GENCI representing France.

The deadline for submitting your proposal is the 2nd of November 2021 at 10.00 am CET. Proposals awarded resources will be notified at the end of March 2022. The projects must be executed from the 1st of April 2022 to the 31st of March 2023.

To help Danish researchers, Troels Haugbølle from the University of Copenhagen, who is chairman of the PRACE User Forum, will offer sparring to the application process. PRACE will also be handling EuroHPC applications when time comes, and therefore it is a good idea to get acquainted with the application system.

You can contact Troels Haugbølle at haugboel@nbi.ku.dk for further engagement.

More information about the 24th call can be found via this link.

You are also welcome to contact DeiC's HPC Manager Eske Christiansen at eske.christiansen@deic.dk, if you want more information on this call, PRACE or EuroHPC in general.
