DeiC invites researchers to submit calls of interest to become a national eScience pilot project. The selected research projects will be granted access to the National Cultural Heritage Cluster, a supercomputer based at the State and University Library in Aarhus.

The invitation is primarily aimed at researchers within the humanities and social sciences, but other scientific disciplines will also be considered.

The State and University Library will enter into a dialog with the interested researchers in order to estimate the compute time and technical support required. Applicants need no prior supercomputer experience.

Projects may use their own data or data from the collections of the State and University Library. The digital collections include 800 TB of data from Danish web sites, a radio and television archive, and a digitized newspaper archive.

Four pilot projects will be appointed at this time. Projects are expected to run in the first half of 2017.

Deadline for applications is November 15.
