Planning for this year's DeiC conference is well underway. The program committee has held its first meeting and is already working to put together an exciting professional program.
Under the working title "Providing digital solutions in a changing world", the conference will focus on current challenges, opportunities, and solutions within data management, HPC, eScience, networks, services, and security, which are the conference's primary focus areas.
The committee is also interested in hearing from you if you have input or suggestions for presentations to the conference. There is a possibility for shorter posts of 5-7 minutes (Lightning talks) and longer presentations of 25 minutes. A Lightning talk is a short fast-paced presentation where you can present everything from a good idea, challenge, demonstration, the successful project to an invitation to collaborate.
Send the title and a short description of your proposal to Sanne Holm at sanne.holm@deic.dk. The proposals received will be assessed by the program committee at the next committee meeting. Deadline is Monday, May 3rd.
Last year we, unfortunately, had to cancel the conference due to the Corona situation, but we hope that this year it is possible to gather again for two inspiring days. The conference will be held on 3-4. November at Vingsted Hotel and Conference Center in Bredsten near Vejle. The preliminary program will be announced in early June, with registration also opening.
