The DeiC Conference is also the place to nurture and develop your professional network, and we guarantee exciting entertainment as well.

By registering before August 30, you can get your ticket at the early bird price. Read more and register here.

Collaboration at the Center

The theme of this year's conference is "Collaboration on digital research infrastructure for a better tomorrow," and for the first time, the conference program will be organized around cross-disciplinary topics rather than specific fields. Program committee member Hannah Mihai explains:

"This year, we have worked to reflect the significant overlap between our fields in the structure of our conference program. None of our fields stand entirely alone, and we need each other's expertise. A good example is DeiC's involvement in various projects concerning measurements on fiber cables, where the cables are owned by the Research Network, data is processed in HPC computing centers under strict security requirements as they can potentially be sensitive, and the data is stored in accordance with good and FAIR Data Management principles." Hannah Mihai, Data Management Consultant, DeiC.

The program committee is currently working hard to put together this year's exciting program, and we look forward to presenting the first names in the upcoming DeiC newsletter.

New Social Activities

We know that the opportunity to meet with old and new acquaintances is a central part of the conference for our participants. To support this even more, the program committee is planning a series of social activities this year, where participants can interact in informal settings. Keep an eye on our upcoming newsletters and our website for more details.
